Please join us for our first Parents' Council meeting of the school year:
A Discussion on the Proposed Bond Issue for our Schools Monday, October 20th at 9:30 a.m. at the PWPL
We will be joined by members of the Board of Education, including President Karen Sloan, and Dr. Kathleen Mooney, Superintendent of Schools. They will present their educational vision for the district and how the bond will raise funds to repair, expand and better equip our schools for the learning required in the 21st century. The BOE sees this as a way to finance our schools' capital needs, including academic, technology, athletics, and creative arts. This is an opportunity for parents to learn about the bond proposal and make suggestions about it to the BOE. All are welcome and encouraged to attend!
Parents' Council is an umbrella organization for all HSA and PTA organizations within the Port Washington school district. Our meetings are open to all and provide a means for parents to become knowledgeable about what's happening in the school district. For more information, please contact Co-Presidents Stephanie Silverstein at firstname.lastname@example.org or Lynn Steinberg at email@example.com.
